Activity 7.4
This was my first ever YouTube Video.
I decided to talk about how having a malleable mindset in an aspect of my life enabled me to grow a skill set that I would have not been able to develop otherwise.
Also, disregard the face I'm making...it just happens sometimes...
Hannah,
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing this! I got an art minor in college, so I love talking about and viewing other people's art. I'm glad you were able to grow and accept feedback in order to become better at your craft. One of my art professors once told me that art is not about the product, it's about the process. This helped me to distance myself in a way from high expectations that I placed on myself, especially when surrounded by other art majors. The important thing is to enjoy what you're doing, and you'll probably improve along the way. Keep on painting! :)
Thanks! Since you are an experienced art minor, maybe you can give me some tips? :)
DeleteI really appreciated your video and your willingness to share. I think you're going to be a very, very encouraging teacher. I can see the progress you've made in art and that's such a great example of developing ability through time and practice.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Kelly!
DeleteHannah, I really like your video! I believe you offer a great example of how effort, hard work, and persistence can pay off. Although your abilities may not be where you want them to be, your willingness to learn more and develop your craft will continue to pay off!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
